Cookies, the short version.

This is a genuinely short page, because Linvi uses almost no cookies. There are no advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers and no third-party analytics cookies — just what is needed to keep you signed in and to credit referrals.

What we use

Why there is no cookie banner
Consent banners are legally required for cookies that are not necessary for the service — typically advertising and tracking cookies. Our position, stated plainly:
- The auth session cookie is strictly necessary — you cannot have an account without staying signed in — and strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent requirements.
- The referral cookie is a first-party functional cookie that exists only to credit the person who referred you. It does not profile you, follow you to other sites, or feed any advertising system.
- Our analytics sets no cookies at all, so there is nothing to consent to.
Because we use no advertising or tracking cookies, we do not show a consent banner. If we ever add cookies that require consent, we will add a proper consent banner first and update this notice — not the other way around.

Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Note that blocking the session cookie will sign you out and prevent login from working. Questions: alex@linvi.ai.
